Join Hopeless Romantic Books in celebrating the release of the highly anticipated third book in the Empyrean Series, Onyx Storm!
We will gather at the iconic Toronto staple, Pennies (127 Strachan Ave, Toronto), from 9pm on January 20th to 1230am on January 21st, 2025.
Attendees will receive their copy of Onyx Storm at the drop of midnight!

🥂 1 drink ticket (don't worry - you can order more drinks at the bar!)
🏆 Trivia and entertainment
There will be lots of fun to be had and prizes to be won!
Empyrean series cosplay encouraged (there may even be a prize for the best dressed dragon and/or rider 🐉😉).
Tickets are limited so don't wait or you may just lose your spot at Basgiath War College.
FAQ
What if I change my mind or can no longer attend?
Unfortunately, refunds are not possible. Ticket sales are final. You are welcome to sell or give your tickets to someone else, please just email us so we are aware. If you cannot sell your ticket, we will do our best to help you find someone off the waitlist.
Can I bring someone with me?
Each ticket is valid for one person, but you may buy as many tickets as you need as long as they are available.
Can I read Onyx Storm at the party?
We will be handing out Onyx Storm at midnight, as the official release date is January 21, 2025. We cannot distribute copies of the book before that. We have allotted some extra time at the end of the party for those who would like to start reading and chatting about the book right after you receive it!
