Rules for the Video Submission
Post a 30-60 second video on at least one social media platform showing what makes you the Ultimate Hopeless Romantic. Tag @HopelessRomanticBooks in the post.

Video submissions will be reviewed by the Hopeless Romantic Books team and will be judged based on the following criteria:

• Creativity and originality
• Passion and enthusiasm for romance books
• Engagement in the Hopeless Romantic Books community
  
• Only one video on one social media platform is required for entry, but additional posts and shares on multiple social media platforms will be viewed positively by the judging team!

Contest Dates
The contest will close on Tuesday, June 30th, 2026 at 11:59pm.
The Hopeless Romantic Books team will contact the winner via email (info@hopelessromanticbooks.com) by Tuesday, July 7th, 2026. 

Important Notes: 

• You must be 21+ to enter.
• You must be a Canadian Resident to enter. 
• This prize has no cash value. If you are unable to travel during the retreat dates you will forfeit your prize and we will select another winner. 
• There are NO deviations, amendments, or changes available for this itinerary; you must depart from Toronto Pearson Airport (YYZ) on the designated travel dates. 
• You will be staying in a double occupancy room with a roommate, and will have 2 double beds. 
• You must have a valid passport that does not expire until at least April 20, 2027, or be willing to renew your current passport before travel. Winner is responsible for obtaining valid travel documents. 
• Resort Gratuities and Travel Insurance are not included in the prize and require an additional fee. Winner is responsible for obtaining travel insurance.
  
• Winner is responsible for all expenses not expressly included in the prize.
• Sponsors are not responsible for delays, cancellations, weather events, government restrictions, or other circumstances outside their control.
• By entering the Contest, participants grant Hopeless Romantic Books a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to repost, share, and use submitted videos and related content for promotional and marketing purposes, with credit where reasonably possible.
