Cassandra Walker is a high-powered defense attorney with a ten-year plan and a 401k.

She also has a sentient voice in her head that tells her to kill people.

So far, she’s been able to keep this voice in its cage, but lately, it’s been a little more challenging to keep it under control than usual.

Why, you might ask? Well, because of Theodora Fairview, of course.

Theo is the opposite of Cassandra in every way.

She’s laid back, even-tempered… and for reasons Cassandra can’t even begin to fathom, Theo also spends her nights beating the crap out of people in an underground street fighting ring.

It quickly becomes clear that Theo has a death wish — and no one in Cassandra’s life has ever turned her on or infuriated her more.
