Tropes & Vibes to Story & Plot
Led by Farah Heron, critically acclaimed romance author for adults and teens.
Romance novels are often described by their tropes and vibes—enemies to lovers, dark romance, or cozy second chance—but those aren't the story itself. So how do you turn a great concept into a compelling plot?
In this workshop, Farah will break down the difference between tropes, story concepts, and plot, and share practical brainstorming techniques to help you transform vague ideas into a workable outline. While geared toward romance writers, this workshop is valuable for any writer looking to develop a strong story from a simple spark of inspiration.
